A New Year

It’s crazy to think that I’d be here where i stand in my life, however, I thank God each and everyday for blessing me in so many incredible ways. If I’m honest with everyone, there is nothing better than marriage and nothing more rewarding that parenting. EVERYTHING is better when you’re married, but only when, at the center of it all, God is given ALL the praise, ALL the thanks, and ALL the worship. Grace didn’t come cheap, and these blessings aren’t to be taken for granted. Our Father who art in Heaven wants us to be reminded of Who is in control and Who it is we are to worship. Let’s be honest, we don’t remember this all the time. Heck, I forgot so often, you’d think I wasn’t even trying. But that’s how easy it is to fall into our sinfulness. It’s easier to walk on the wide road than take the narrow road. As I approach another birthday, another year to thank God for seeing another year of my life, I pray that i’ll be more reflective, to see what i use to replace God within my heart and to lift those things up to a God that offers satisfaction, love, peace, rest, wisdom, knowledge…….. graciously. †
